Makoto Ishizaka’s big band piece Volcanic Eruption ranked in the Top 10 on the iTunes Store Jazz chart in Japan.
The work also received an award at the 44th Annual Student Music Awards by DownBeat Magazine and was selected as a semi-finalist in the 2020 International Songwriting Competition from over 26,000 entries.
